Ali Fletcher is an artist & witch from Boston, Massachusetts currently residing in southern Indiana (Pawtucket, Massachusett, & Wampanoag, and Myaamiaki, Lënape, Bodwéwadmik, & Saawanwa lands, respectively) who has been creating art since she was big enough to finger paint without trying to eat it. Specializing in graphite pencil and black ink mixed media pieces, acrylic painting, and mural artistry, she draws inspiration for her pieces from fantasy, polytheistic mythology and neopaganism, her Irish heritage, and radical perspectives on death and decaying. Her lifelong love of the dark, spooky, and macabre as well as her awareness of the importance of mental health and community care allow her to create pieces that honor all of the shadows we carry and to revel the beauty within.
In addition to creating all the content for WithScreamAndSugar, Ali can be found hanging out with her black cat Penelope, daydreaming about medieval armor, singing along with Hozier or Florence + the Machine, talking to the bugs and birds outside her window, and dreaming about the smell of hot coffee and fresh pumpkin bread baking on crisp, cold October mornings.
