Seamair Agus Samhadh - Clover and Sorrel
A tribute to my heritage and an ádh na hÉireannach (the luck of the Irish), this painting features red and white clover and pink wood sorrel. Finding a four-leafed clover is considered a sign of good luck and good fortune, and rumor has it that St. Patrick used the three leaves of the clover plant to represent the holy trinity. Wood sorrel, more commonly known as a shamrock, is frequently mistaken for clover and also has been adopted as a sign of Irish heritage and good luck.
